What we collect: When you submit a question, we store the question text, a category selection, and a browser-generated session ID used only for rate limiting. We do not intentionally store your IP address in the application database.

No accounts: No name, email, phone, or login is required to use The Drop Box. Your Drop Code is your only credential.

Session ID: A random string generated in your browser and stored in localStorage. Used only to enforce rate limits (1 question per 60 seconds, 5 per 24 hours). Not tied to your identity.

Cookies: We use an HTTP-only session cookie for admin authentication only. Public visitors do not receive authentication cookies.

Data retention: Questions and answers are stored indefinitely unless deleted by the admin. Session IDs may be purged after 7 days.

Third parties: We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Proof receipts: Proof receipts are supporting records only. They do not replace copyright registration, legal advice, platform verification, or professional review.

No guarantees of anonymity: While we do not collect personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute anonymity. Network-level data may be logged by hosting infrastructure outside our control.
